The commercial marketplaces monetise the conversation and the profile behind it. Carrying the same listings on the shielded account layer and the on-device signed channel removes that model entirely: the messages are signed before they leave the device and there is nothing underneath selling attention.
It is a listings board. It does not take payment, hold funds, verify either party, or guarantee a transaction. It is in development and is not on sale.
